Our Greenology trip was an unforgettable experience. We explored the harmonious blend of nature and urban spaces, gaining insights into sustainability and environmental stewardship. From hands-on activities to engaging workshops, our students learned about Greenwall architecture, plant propagation, and the importance of nurturing green spaces. The passion and dedication of the staff inspired us to become advocates for environmental change. This trip left a lasting impression, expanding our understanding and appreciation for integrating nature into urban environments. We’re excited to continue our journey towards a greener future!
Learning Journey to Pratt & Whitney SEA
Our recent visit to Pratt & Whitney proved to be an awe-inspiring adventure for our students. Stepping onto the factory floor, they were granted an exclusive glimpse into the intricate process of working on and repairing airplane engines, unraveling the marvels behind aviation technology.
As we walked through the vast facility, the students were immersed in a world of innovation and precision. They witnessed firsthand the skilled craftsmanship and meticulous attention to detail required in every aspect of engine maintenance. From disassembly and inspection to repairs and reassembly, the students gained an invaluable understanding of the immense complexity involved in keeping these engineering marvels in optimal condition.
One of the most remarkable moments came when the students had the chance to engage with industry professionals. Conversations with engineers and technicians offered valuable insights into the challenges and advancements in the field. The students eagerly absorbed the knowledge shared, nurturing their passion for aerospace and igniting aspirations for future careers in the industry.
